A different way to understand illness.
In classical homeopathy, symptoms are not the problem. They are the expression of one. The work begins with the underlying pattern: what gives rise to what you feel, how you react, and what keeps returning.
Why chronic illness keeps returning.
A symptom appears and is treated or suppressed. Often the condition returns, or changes form, or something new develops, because the underlying pattern remains unchanged.
Treating symptoms alone does not reach the root of chronic illness.
A different approach
Symptoms are a guide, not the destination.
Homeopathy works from a different premise. Symptoms are not the problem, they are expressions of an underlying imbalance. Instead of trying to silence them, they are used as a guide to what lies beneath. The aim is not to remove what the body is expressing. It is to address the reason it is expressing it.
Most systems treat the condition. This one treats you.
A remedy is selected from your individual pattern: your physical symptoms, sensitivities, tendencies, and overall constitution. Every detail matters, and every response is a clue.
Not a protocol. Not a combination of treatments. A single, precise match.
When the system is understood at the level where imbalance begins, real change becomes possible.
The remedy
How a remedy is prepared and given
Potentization
Remedies are made from plant, mineral, and other natural sources through repeated dilution and vigorous shaking, a process called potentization. It is what allows a remedy to be used gently, in very small doses.
Water-based dosing
Remedies are given in water-based doses, including LM potencies, so that each dose can be adjusted gradually to your sensitivity, the depth of the condition, and your stage of care.
The body begins to reorganize from within.
A remedy acts as a stimulus. It does not force change; it prompts the system back toward balance. We track your response across the whole picture, not a single symptom:
- How symptoms shift in intensity and frequency
- Energy, sleep, and vitality
- Emotional steadiness, resilience, and mental clarity
- How long-standing patterns shift over time
What working together looks like
Before we meet
You complete a detailed questionnaire and intake forms, so your case can be reviewed in advance and our time together is focused from the start.
The initial consultation
Typically 60 to 90 minutes, in person in San Diego or online. We explore your physical concerns, emotional patterns, history, and deeper tendencies.
The remedy
After careful analysis, a single remedy is selected. Sometimes it is given at the end of the consultation; sometimes after further study of the case.
Follow-ups
Shorter visits of 30 to 45 minutes, usually every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on your response and stage of treatment.
Homeopathy can work alongside medical care.
Some treatments, especially those that suppress a symptom, can affect how a case responds. When that is relevant, we discuss it openly, before and during care. Decisions about prescribed medication are always yours to make with your physician.
Questions people ask
How long before I notice a change?
It depends on the person and on how long the condition has been present. Acute complaints can shift quickly, while long-standing chronic conditions usually unfold over months. A useful rule of thumb in chronic cases is to allow roughly a tenth of the time the condition has been present, and follow-ups track the direction of change along the way.
Can I take homeopathy alongside my current medication?
Yes. Decisions about prescribed medication are always yours to make with your physician. See Alongside your care above.
What is a remedy made from?
Remedies come from plant, mineral, and other natural sources, prepared through potentization: repeated dilution and succussion. They are given in small, carefully adjusted doses.
Do you see patients online?
Yes. Consultations are available in person in San Diego and online by Zoom for patients anywhere in the world.
