UC Berkeley Engineer  ·  Classical Homeopath

Many of my patients arrive having already tried multiple approaches. They are not looking for another treatment. They are looking for someone who understands what is going on behind their symptoms.

A Berkeley engineer. And a homeopath.

Those two things are not supposed to go together. I trained as an engineer, undergraduate at IIT Delhi where I graduated as gold medallist, then a master's in electrical engineering at UC Berkeley. But even during those years, a question stayed with me: how does true healing actually happen?

In 2006 I found out. I developed an autoimmune condition that western medicine had no answer to: evening fevers, a persistent cough, and iritis in my eyes that ran for more than three months. I was looking at a lifelong dependency on steroids. I went back to the homeopath in India who had helped me before, and within six months the condition had resolved. Not managed. Resolved.

That is what turned a question into a practice. I took the degree, then an advanced clinical certification, and eventually dedicated myself fully to this work.

Over the past 15+ years, I've worked with individuals facing chronic and complex conditions — often after they've exhausted conventional and alternative approaches.

My story, in about a minute. Captions are on screen; the full transcript is below.

A Berkeley engineer. And a homeopath. I'm actually an engineer by education. I hold a master's degree from UC Berkeley in electrical engineering. But in 2006 I had an autoimmune disease which western medication had no answer to. I had evening fevers, coughs, and iritis in my eyes for over three months, and I was staring at a lifelong dependency on steroids.

I had seen homeopathy work before, as it had helped me, and I contacted the same homeopath in India. The condition resolved in less than six months. There is nothing of that autoimmune disease left in my body today.

That recovery is why I am doing this work. I got so inspired that I ended up doing a degree in homeopathy, as well as an advanced clinical certification in it. I now see patients of all ages in my practice, for all sorts of chronic and acute diseases, here in San Diego, California.

A different way of looking at health

Three principles that shape how every case is approached.

01

Symptoms are not the problem

They are the body's attempt to communicate. What we perceive as illness is often the outward expression of a deeper imbalance. In homeopathy, the goal is not to suppress these expressions — but to understand them precisely.

02

The person, not the diagnosis

Most approaches categorize, label, and treat accordingly. Classical homeopathy requires a different level of attention — identifying a single remedy that reflects your unique pattern across physical, emotional, and mental dimensions.

03

Patterns across generations

Chronic conditions rarely arise in isolation. They reflect deeper patterns within the organism — patterns that may evolve over time, and sometimes across generations. Understanding these patterns is essential to true resolution.

Healing is not separate from living.

The same curiosity that drew me to engineering — the drive to understand how things work at a fundamental level — is what ultimately led me to homeopathy.

It is a system that demands precision, patience, and a willingness to look beneath the surface. These are values I carry in both my practice and my life.

"Homeopathic treatment of chronic diseases needs a deep understanding of 'miasms' — the subtle energetic disturbance in the organism which results in predispositions towards chronic conditions."
